Engineering Services

CFI has full Engineering capabilities to take your project or vessel from Concept to Completion:

• Basic Mechanical Design: CFI will take your concepts, pressures, temperatures, stresses, process requirements etc.  and complete a basic mechanical design to suit your needs

• Code Calculations: CFI will do all ASME Section VIII, B31.3, API650, stress, and other code Calculations

• Finite Element Analysis: CFI will run a full FEA via ALGOR to satisfy all your loading needs

• Full Engineering Drawings and Solid Modeling:  CFI will generate a full set of Engineering Drawings including a BOM as well as a full Solidworks Model of your project or vessel

Fabrication

CFI offers the highest quality Welding and Fabrication in the business:

• Layout: At CFI all layout is done in the flat via .  This allows us to build the most complicated geometries with ease and an accuracy that sets the standard for the industry.

• Cutting: CFI utilizes full CNC plasma and gas cutting machines for cutting the parts in the flat to insure accuracy during fit-up.

• Forming: CFI does most of it's own forming and rolling.

• Welding: CFI employs only the highest quality welders in the industry.  All welders are fully certified pressure vessel welders capable of welding a large array of materials in every position with any welding procedures and processes.

• Tolerances: CFI is able to achieve very close tolerances on any type of fabrication work.

• Quality Control: Quality is maintained by several quality control personnel and third party CODE inspection on every coded vessel.
